Probate Valuations

When a property forms part of a deceased's persons estate, a formal Probate Valuation may be required to assess any liability for Inheritance Tax when the affairs of that person are being finalised. This can be requested by the family solicitor or an Executor of the estate.

Our experienced and compassionate team can complete a robust Probate Valuation in line with RICS guidelines and liaise with relevant parties to ensure the family's interests are properly represented. We can also organise the clearance of the property and arrange the onward sale of any items you wish to sell at auction.

Once probate has been granted, we can market the property for sale, liaise with all relevant parties and manage the process until completion.

Matrimonial Valuations

Sadly, divorce and separation is an increasing aspect of property ownership and modern life. There can be many reasons why a property would need to be assessed for these purposes and we are experienced enough to understand how this can be a very stressful and sometimes acrimonious time.

We can prepare a valuation of the matrimonial property / properties and submit to all of the relevant parties and we can then handle any properties to be sold to secure the best possible outcome and price, regardless of the circumstances.

We will advise all parties of progress in the sale and manage the sale properly, professionally and sympathetically. Contact can be by telephone or email (or both) if required. We will liaise with all legal representatives from the start of the process until the sale completion.
